Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Tablet
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Tablet
Samsung has been on a tear lately. The company has gone toe to toe with Apple, and remains the only company that has been able to draw customers away from them. The successes of the Galaxy line of products is particularly impressive, from the sheer specs and functionality of the devices, to the ingenious marketing campaigns. The company is hoping to continue its recent success with a new tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is likely to be announced at Mobile World Congress later this month, which isn’t surprising. What might catch some people off guard, however, is the price of the tablet. It’s reasonable that the Galaxy Note 8.0 will be priced at a similar or even slightly higher level than the iPad Mini it’s designed to compete against. Traditionally the Samsung devices have been priced a bit less than their Apple counterparts, but the recent success of their products might allow the company to start charging more.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 is said to have an 8″ screen with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, along with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.6GHz quad-core processor. These specs will compete nicely even against the next iPad Mini, which is almost certainly going to come equipped with a retina display.
Where do you stand in the tablet / Apple vs Samsung battle for supremacy?
